Acquiring the appropriate professional designations after graduation is an important step on the path to becoming recognized as an expert in your field, and may be required for certain types of practice, depending on your jurisdiction.

Request Alumni Access to SAGE Premier Library Collection

As an Alumni member of Yorkville University, you can request access to SAGE Premier database which is a bundle of 25 peer-reviewed, scholarly journal bundles. There is no cost for this access.

BBA

Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) is the national organization established to support a unified accounting profession in Canada. CPAs are highly attractive to employers for their expertise in contributing to improved efficiency and growth.  Prospective CPA students may complete a number of prerequisite equivalency courses through the Yorkville University BBA often at an accelerated pace.  For a current list of CPA eligible courses, click here.

The Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) has been representing employers’ payroll interests since 1978, through its mission of payroll compliance through education and advocacy and its values of community, professionalism and authoritative knowledge. The Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) has approved credit transfer of certain BBA courses towards its professional certifications:

The Institute for Performance and Learning

The Institute for Performance and Learning recognizes Yorkville University’s MEd in Adult Education. This recognition provides participants of this Master’s degree student membership. Graduates are given the credit of one-year work experience towards the qualification requirement for the following certification: Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP).

This certification provides you with a professional recognition as a learning leader, manager or instructional designer, enhancing your competency in the field of workforce training and development.
